Four Seasons Wellness & Acupuncture

Offers you a variety of services for your health and well being

Four Seasons Wellness & Acupuncture eases your stress and anxiety naturally. Our services help manage your pain so you can get back to doing what you love. Chattanooga acupuncture relaxes your body, mind, and emotions. It improves your muscle tension, digestion, sleep, neuralgia-type conditions, and more. We offer infertility acupuncture to balance your hormones. SAAT acupuncture for alpha-gal clears your allergies so you can reintroduce mammal products back into your life.

Dr. Wesley recognizes that acupuncture does not fit into a ‘one size fits all’ treatment. She uses Japanese-style needles that are smaller and are not as invasive as Chinese-style needles. Using Japanese-style acupuncture is gentler. After a thorough assessment, your treatment plan is tailored to fit your individual needs.

Our staff is very innovative with the latest techniques in acupuncture, both Chinese and Japanese style, Kampo and Traditional Medicine, and massage. We are committed to offering you the highest amount of care and respect.  At Four Seasons Wellness, we listen to what you are saying and address your needs.

KAMPO

Kampo is a Traditional-style Medicine developed and practiced in Japan. Whereas the traditional practice is to check your tongue and pulse, palpating your abdomen to assess your body’s constitution in addition to checking the tongue and pulse and then assessing your symptoms, is the diagnostic practice of Kampo.  Through palpating your abdomen for constitution, Dr. Wesley can arrive at a better understanding of what she already suspects as a diagnosis. It has combined eastern and western forms of medicine. In Japan, Kampo is practiced by Physicians. Whereas in the United States, it is practiced by acupuncturists and other alternative healthcare professionals.

Kampo focuses on the study and use of herbs. Herbs are prescribed through your body’s response to palpating the abdomen, as well as, assessing the symptoms. Herbal formulas are designed to target and treat your overall conditions. The herbs come in a granulated form and are commonly drank as a tea. Herbs can substitute for and/or augment the effect of prescription medications, without the undue side effects and prohibitive costs. These formulas have been proven safe and effective for hundreds of years. Herbs can be used to increase absorption of vitamins, minerals, and supplements. Adding herbs will produce faster results than just improving diet and using physical medicine techniques like acupuncture, massage, or physical therapy. Herbs can treat you if you cannot get regular acupuncture or if you need daily therapy. Chronic illnesses respond well to these preparations.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage, as with acupuncture, has been used for thousands of years as a natural healing system. Starting in India around 3000 BC, it moved to China and Southeast Asia where it was used in combination with Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. Eventually the practice navigated globally, adopting new methodologies as it moved. It is believed to enable natural healing by improving your body’s physical and natural balance. Massage is used as an holistic approach to pain management, heal injuries, reduce anxiety and depression, and prevent illness.  Commonly it is used in conjunction with other alternative, holistic, and integrative healthcare approaches.

Clients words about us

I just want to thank you, Margie of Four Seasons Wellness and Acupuncture, for helping me with my allergies…. I was skeptical going in. I’ve been going a couple of months and paid nothing compared to the price doctors charge. I’m still going for treatment and already I’m 60-70% better. Any questions feel free to contact me through Margie.

Margie Wesley has helped me tremendously! When I first went to Margie I could hardly walk. I had severe plantar fasciitis and was in extreme pain. Through the use of acupuncture and e-stem I am able to walk so much better. For anyone who has suffered from PF, the benefits of acupuncture are amazing. I highly recommend Margie Wesley for her skill and dedication.

Lisa J

I as the biggest skeptic must say I am impressed and will return for further treatment next week. I recommend her acupuncture for anybody and any age person and even called one of my friends who has had back surgery and told him he must seek her treatment for all his issues!
